Ok, so you’ve learned to change a diaper … now what?

Being a dad doesn’t end once our kids start eating solid foods and burping on their own. Yet support for dads has been limited to a few basic “how-to” and “survival-guide” workshops.

The Daddy Brain Workshop treats dad as a whole person. It reaches beyond the first-year basics and addresses big life issues including: second-class parent syndrome, the discipline dilemma, dad’s emotional life — and goals for dads, kids and the family.

This Month’s Topic: Goals
Helps dads discover, define, set and attain their goals — even in the face of obstacles like exhaustion, negative emotions, lack of time, loss and stress.

Reservations suggested. Walk-ins welcome. FREE.

Tip of the Day on Creating Success

Success is determined by our ability to think and act like champions, even in the midst of defeat.

Tip of the Day: Do You Know What Your Future Looks Like?

The Magic If – Do You Know What Your Future Looks Like?

When I speak about goals to students and families, one of the things I do is help people create a 5-Year Vision – a very specific picture of what they want their lives to look like and who they want to be five years down the road. It’s something I learned about from Brian Tracy.

What I’ve found is that many people say they have no idea what it is they want to be doing, or who they want to be in five years. But when I ask a very simple question, almost 100% of the time their “not knowing” melts away and a clear answer begins to manifest.

So what’s the question?

What if? What if you did know? Who would you be? What would your life look like?

Tip of the Day from Jedi Master Yoda

“Always in motion is the future.
And many possible futures, there are.”

Tip of the Day from Mark Twain

“Twenty years from now you will be more dissappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off your bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
